February 15, 2009 marks a new date in motorsports history. Not because Matt Kenseth took his #17 Dewalt Tools Ford Fusion to winners circle at the 51st running of the Daytona 500. Not even because Dale Earnhardt jr. couldn't find his pit box all day and then got into a scuffle with Brian Vickers and took out 1/3 of the field with 75 laps to go. No this special day in motorsports history is because the Thunder Road Show, "The Best Damn Motorsports Show Ever", had it's first remote broadcast. That's right 1560 The Game's only motorsports related show was on the road at Jake's Philly Steaks in Houston.
Doug and Blue would like to thank everyone who came out to Jake's including Kristin Bumbera ,pictured above, and Erica Enders. We also had sponsors of the Thunder Road Show there like Circle D Specialties, Allout Off Road, Brian Reese of Nationwide Ins. and Amy Vera of Dr. Robertson's office. The Texas Warehouse donated a very nice Texas star wall decoration. Bullfrog Spa's of Houston gave us some cool stuff to give away as did all of our sponsors. We had a packed house and Jake's said we are welcome back. Thanks everyone for coming out.
